Why Team COIN is one of the best tools you can offer your team?
- Viewing the team as a whole, a unique entity, Team COIN clearly reveals a holistic picture unbiased by individual perspectives
- It's a self-assessment tool based on a Likert-type scale, not an artificial benchmark diagnostic
- All content is strictly confidential and the answers are anonymous, offering a team perspective and allowing team members the opportunity of fully expressing their opinions
- The assessment is done online by each team member and it takes 30 minutes, on average
- The aggregated data is compiled by us and delivered as a report to the leader of the team
What is a Likert-type scale?
Named after its inventor, psychologist Rensis Likert, the Likert scale is a psychometric scale commonly involved in research that employs questionnaires. It is the most widely used approach to scaling responses in survey research.
When responding to a Likert item, respondents specify their level of agreement or disagreement on a symmetric agree-disagree scale for a series of statements. Thus, the range captures the intensity of their feelings for a given item. As such, Likert scales have found application in psychology and social sciences, statistics, business and marketing.
